About

I’m an infrastructure engineer with a builder’s instinct. I’ve spent the past 14 months keeping enterprise Linux fleets healthy on critical L3/L4 escalations — and in parallel I ship full-stack products, like Caisse MAHALI, the bilingual restaurant POS now running in production in Morocco.

The thread connecting both worlds is the same: take a complex, noisy system, understand it deeply, and leave it more reliable, more automated, and more humane than I found it. I’ve done it across three roles — on critical enterprise Linux escalations through April 2026, at Stellantis on global infrastructure incidents, and at TotalEnergies on production-supported applications — and I’m now available for my next ambitious mission.

  • Operated and supported Linux workloads on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), hybrid and on-premises — ensuring high availability and operational excellence.
  • Designed fleet-wide automation — lifecycle jobs, software sources and patch policies — to standardize configuration across hybrid Linux estates.
  • Performed root cause analysis using logs, package history, service dependency graphs and diagnostics; drove permanent fixes back to engineering.
  • Supported KVM/libvirt virtualization stacks and kernel crash analysis (kdump, vmcore, crash utility) to validate infrastructure changes.

  • Delivered infrastructure support across networking, cloud, Windows Server and Linux systems for a large enterprise automotive client.
  • Drove incident and change workflows through Jira and Confluence, building a culture of documented, repeatable operations.
  • Participated in crisis bridges for high-priority infrastructure incidents impacting production services.
  • Tuned monitoring and alert handling to reduce noise and increase signal on actionable events.

Caisse MAHALI

A bilingual restaurant POS, architected and built solo — from kernel-level deployment all the way up to the receipt printer.

Caisse MAHALI is a production restaurant point-of-sale system. It runs a bilingual French/Arabic Flutter app for cashiers and admins, talks to a hardened Node.js + Express + MySQL API hosted behind Nginx, exchanges real-time events over Socket.IO, and prints ESC/POS thermal receipts with Arabic-aware raster rendering. The same backend hosts an embedded CMS, a public marketing site and a CRM client portal.

  • Flutter cashier + admin app — POS, stock, attendance, reports, role-based screens, French / Arabic with RTL
  • Node.js API hardened with Helmet, per-IP rate limiting, JWT auth, bcrypt and role guards behind Nginx
  • Real-time order & staff chat over Socket.IO, with cache invalidation hooks for the CMS
  • Thermal receipt printing (ESC/POS) and PDF reports — global, stock, attendance, tickets
  • Embedded CMS with revisions plus a public marketing site & demo-request lead funnel
